Sign in or set up Rates Online
To view your rate bill or previous bills online or update your details and access other services linked to your rate bill you need to have your own Rates Online account. To set up a Rates Online account, you need to have your own nidirect account.
Rates Online services
A Rates Online account will allow you to access a number of different services to help you manage and update your rate bill.
You will also be able to inform Land & Property services (LPS) of some changes to your property or personal details.
You will be able to:
- view details of your rate account
- view your bill and previous bills
- receive e-bills (from the date of sign up)
- raise a query
- receive notifications for new bills by email or SMS
- view information for your properties
- update your contact details
- ask for a review of dates in your rate bill
- upload documents
- report any occupancy changes
- complete a non-domestic vacancy declaration
- contact LPS
- use a Chatbot for general queries
Before you start
You need your own nidirect account to sign in to Rates Online. If you already have a nidirect account, you should use it to sign in.
You will need your Ratepayer and Account identification numbers to link your Rate Account to Rates Online. You can find these on your most recent rates bill.
The name used on your nidirect account should be the same as the name you use for Rates Online.
