Marlbank Forest
Marlbank Forest is a small group of forests that includes the Cladagh Glen and the Marble Arch National Nature Reserve. The forest is part of the UNESCO Marble Arch Caves global geopark.
Activities
At the head of the gorge, accessible by a linear path, the River Cladagh emerges from the rocks through a spectacular feature which gives its name to the site. This path forms part of section one of the Cuilcagh Way as well as being part of the Ulster Way. Visitors can use this route to access the Marble Arch caves.
To arrange a special event or activity in this forest, such as sporting events or educational visits, contact the recreation manager at Enniskillen Forest Office.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.
About this forest
Along with the subterranean river system and caves of international speleological (Marble Arch Caves) interest, the forest is a fine example of an ash and hazel woodland.
How to get there
Take the A32 from Enniskillen to Florencecourt for about eight miles and then take the Marble Arch Road towards Belcoo.
