There are no waymarked walking trails in this forest but walkers may use the forest roads for casual walking.

Permit holders can access the pony trekking trail in this forest using the main entrance on the Mullaghfad Road one mile from the Mullaghfad/Alderwood Road junction.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.
About this forest
This 630 hectare forest forms part of a larger connected mass of forests that includes, Doon, Jenkin, Knocks, Tully, Mullaghfad, Carnmore, Grogey and Fardross Forests which cover 8,000 hectares spilling down from the Slieve Beagh plateau.
How to get there
The main entrance is situated on the Mullaghfad Road about one mile from the Mullaghfad/Alderwood Road junction, which is six miles from Fivemiletown.
