Types of permit 

Before you apply, you should read the information on the pedestrian zone permits page:

• Pedestrian zone permits

There are several types of permit, depending on the reason for an application:

• residents’ access
• church access
• off-street car parking access
• banking access
• business access
• essential maintenance/ repairs to buildings access
• Blue Badge holder access
• community transport access
• miscellaneous access 

You must give the following information when applying:

• your details
• type of permit you need
• details of the restricted zone
• date and time(s) of access
• reason for access
• vehicle details
