Dunmoyle Forest

This is an upland forest of 390 hectares with a high number of conifers and some native broadleaved areas as well as open bog areas.


There are no facilities for recreational activities provided. The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot.

To arrange a special event or activity in this forest, such as sporting events or educational visits, contact the recreation manager at Enniskillen Forest Office.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations. Pay attention to safety signage.

Dunmoyle Forest covers closely connected blocks of forest that sit above Ballygawley village.

How to get there

You can enter the forest by Whitebridge Road or the Ballygawley to Omagh Road from Cavey Road.
