Creggan Forest

These are upland forests and timber production is the major target for the planted areas. The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot.

The main Creggan block is beside An Creagán Centre which facilitates group meetings, educational courses and community events. It has catering and accommodation facilities.

There is a circular waymarked walking trail in the forest with An Creagán Centre as the focal point.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.
