SmartPasses must be shown when buying your ticket, to claim a discount.
Senior citizens
Free travel is available to all Senior Citizens who are 65 years of age or over and who have been resident in Northern Ireland for a minimum of three months.
Aged 60 to 64
If you are aged between 60 and 64 and you are a permanent resident of Northern Ireland, you are eligible for a 60+ SmartPass.
Registered blind
If you are registered blind with a Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust and you are a permanent resident of Northern Ireland, you are eligible for a Registered Blind SmartPass.
War disablement
People under the age of 65 who receive a War Disablement pension and are also resident in Northern Ireland, are eligible for a War Disablement SmartPass.
Half Fare SmartPass
Half Fare SmartPass holders are entitled to 50 per cent off the standard adult single fare on scheduled rail services operating within Northern Ireland.
