Claim Attendance Allowance
Use this service to apply for Attendance Allowance if you are State Pension age or over and need help with personal care because you have a physical or mental disability. You can also use this service if you are helping someone to fill in the application.
Before you start
You may also use the service if you are an Enduring Power of Attorney or an Appointee.
If you are applying under special rules, if nearing end of life, you can to can apply online at claim Attendance Allowance under special rules
To apply online you'll need:
- your National Insurance number
- your address and contact details
- details of the disability or health condition that you need extra help for
- details of your GP surgery or medical centre
- details of your care home, hospital or hospice if you’re currently staying in one
- dates of any time you've spent living abroad
If you are making a claim as an Enduring Power of Attorney or an Appointee, you will need to provide your own details.
