Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme
If you are permanently physically or psychologically disabled as a result of an injury related to the Troubles in Northern Ireland, you may be entitled to payment from the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme.
Who can apply
The Scheme recognises those who have been permanently injured through no fault of their own and the impact of the disablement including the financial impact on individuals and their families.
How a payment is made
An independent Victims’ Payments Board made up of legal, medical and ordinary members will decide who is entitled to a payment.
Closing date
The scheme will be open until August 2026.
