HGV tests - for businesses with more than 25 vehicles

If your business has a commercial fleet of more than 25 vehicles over 3,501kg, you can arrange standing heavy goods vehicle (HGV) vehicle test appointments. You can log into the booking service below to book, view, change or cancel appointments at your local test centre.

Standing appointments

To access standing appointments you must have an account and log into the  booking service below. To create an account you need to email the Driver & Vehicle Agency’s (DVA) booking and rostering customer support team at the link below.

In the subject line of your email include - ‘standing appointment application’ along with the name of your business and your chosen test centre.

Once approved, the DVA will create an account for your business and give you a Unique Identity (UID) number. You’ll then receive two emails that you’ll need to log in;

  • email confirmation & UID number – follow the instructions to verify your email address
  • confirmation of your unique password

When you have your password, you can use your UID number to log into the booking service via the green button below. You’ll need to create and confirm a new password before you can log in to manage your appointments.

Privacy notice

You can find out how any personal information you send to the Department for Infrastructure (Driver and Vehicle Agency) when using this service will be handled by viewing their privacy notice.

Booking appointments

Once you've logged in to the test centre(s) given to you, you will have the option to book into the appointments assigned to you or you can change to view the public appointments that are available.

Changing appointments

When logged in, you will have the option to cancel, refund and re-book your appointments.
