Seagahan Forest

Seagahan Forest is a small coniferous woodland beside Seagahan Reservoir between the City of Armagh and Markethill. Find out what you can do there and how to get there.

'Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council' maintains a car park with picnic facilities overlooking the reservoir and a way-marked trail is provided through the forest for visitors on foot.

At times there may be restricted access to parts of the forest during work or other forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.

How to get there

Travelling south from Armagh, take the A28 trunk route to Newry. Seagahan Reservoir is signposted on the right.
