There is information relevant to businesses affected by major incidents or an emergency. This can include staff absences, IT issues and temporary loss of utilities. A bigger or longer emergency can have a massive impact on a business.

Business continuity and emergency preparedness

Many small businesses which experience a major emergency do not survive if they don't have a business continuity plan.

Employers also have a responsibility to make sure staff are safe. Emergency training is important.
