Angling at Lower South Woodburn
Lower South Woodburn Reservoir (sometimes referred to as Carrick Dams) is small but productive with good fly hatches.

Wading is allowed but care should be taken as this can be dangerous when the water is at high levels.
Car parking is available. Anglers must use the official entrances. Do not trespass on adjoining lands or obstruct roadways or gate entrances with parked cars.
How to get there
From Belfast, approach by the M5 and A2 towards Carrickfergus. As you go into Carrickfergus take the B58 towards Ballynure. About a mile out (at the Brown Cow Inn sign) fork left for 0.24 miles to cross the B90 at Woodburn village. Travel for 1.11 miles over the humpback bridge to the car park on the left hand side.
