Angling at Colebrooke River

This is mainly a coarse fishery. Brown trout are often caught at the end of the season in the upper reaches of the river. There are plenty of large pike which provide good fishing opportunities.

Season 1 March to 30 September for trout
All year for coarse fish.(only on the lower Colebrooke River below Ballindarragh Bridge)
Methods Fly fishing, spinning and worm fishing for trout and salmon - all lawful methods including ground bait and maggots for coarse fish (only on the lower Colebrooke River below Ballindarragh Bridge)
Daily bag limit

Four brown trout per rod per day
One pike per person/ four coarse fish per day
Catch and release for all salmon

Size limit Minimum takeable trout size 25.4cm
Pike weighing 4kg and over, and coarse longer than 25cm must be returned to the water
Boats Fishing from boats is not permitted

From Lisnaskea, go 0.49 miles along the A34 towards Maguiresbridge. Turn left and go along the B514 to Target Deliveries Ltd, where there is access to the fishery.
