    AI and Data Analytics Academy with Deloitte

    If you’re interested in a career in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics, opportunities are currently available with Deloitte. If you successfully finish the academy, you will gain industry recognised qualifications and will be considered for a potential job role.

    Training

    The AI and Data Analytics Academy with Deloitte is funded by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College (BMC) under the Assured Skills Academies.

    Assured Skills Academies are a pathway to industry-led training before entering the workforce or changing career. 

    The academy is a nine-week training course giving the practical knowledge and real-world experience needed to work in the sector.

    Over the course of the nine weeks, those on the course will take part in blended learning that will include:

    • classroom base instruction to build knowledge 

    • problem-based learning tackling issues you'll face in your day-to-day role

    • learning how to work on your own to grow self-reliance

    • learning how to work in a team effectively through set activities and peer learning

    The academy training is designed to strengthen critical thinking, creativity and adaptability by mixing insight with practical application. 

    Training allowance

    Those taking part will get a weekly training allowance of £180 for the length of the academy, as well as help with travelling and childcare costs where people qualify.

    Qualifications

    Successful applicants to the academy will work towards qualifications in:

    • Microsoft Power BI 

    • Azure Data Fundamentals

    Those who successfully finish the course are guaranteed a job interview for a permanent role as an analyst with Deloitte. 

    An interview is not a guarantee of a job and offers of employment will be solely at the discretion of the company after the interview. 

    Who can apply

    No previous professional experience is needed however, you must:  

    • be at least 18 years old  
    • have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application and not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status 

    • proof of this status will be required in order to progress to interview

    • have a university degree classification 2:2 or higher in any discipline

    or

    • 18 months of relevant experience which can include data analysis, business consultancy or digital engineering skills

    Key dates

    Information session

    An information session will be held on Monday 15 September 2025.

    Interview dates

    Interviews will be held on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 September 2025.

    Training dates

    Training will take place from Monday 6 October until Friday 5 December 2025.

    Applicants must be available for the whole of the training period. 

    Training takes place on weekdays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

    This opportunity is within Deloitte’s Belfast AI and Data analytics team, which supports clients in maximising the value derived from data using advanced analytics, either as part of ongoing business operations or within the context of large transformation programmes. Your role will be focused on helping our clients exploit analytics to generate business value and identify and mitigate risks.
