Below is a list of careers related events which may interest you. This will be updated as and when there are events planned.

Recruitment event for care assistants - 30 April

If you're interested in working as a care assistant, a number of vacancies are now available in Coalisland, Dungannon, Donaghmore, Moy and surrounding areas. To find out more, come along to the recruitment event for care assistants in Dungannon Jobs and Benefits Office on 30 April.

Recruitment event for factory jobs - 30 April

If you're interested in working in a food factory, Dunbia in Dungannon is now recruiting general operatives, assistant team leaders and team leaders. A recruitment event will be held in Lurgan Jobs and Benefits offices on 30 April. Find out more at recruitment events for factory jobs.

People 1st open day - 30 April

If you're interested in vocational training, come along to an open day at People 1st.  Training, with the chance to gain qualifications, is available through the Training for Success programme in:

  • barbering
  • hairdressing
  • nails and beauty therapy
  • retail
  • childcare

A careers adviser from the Careers Service will also be there offering advice and guidance.

Open University information events - April and May

Studying through The Open University can help you to achieve your goals.  Why not go along to one of the Open University events in April to find out about courses and funding.

Mid and East Antrim Job Fair - 14 May

If you're looking for a job, come and meet employers and find out what opportunities are available at the Mid and East Antrim Job Fair on 14 May in Ballymena.

Belfast Central Training open days - 20 to 23 May

If you're interested in vocational training, come along to an open day at Belfast Central Training. They offer vocational training in hairdressing, hospitality and catering, retail and warehousing. and deliver training qualifications through the Training for Success programme and the Apprenticeships programme.
