Accessing your medical records using My Care
If you access health services in Belfast or the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, you will be able to view specific parts of your medical records by using a new online portal called 'My Care'.
About My Care
My Care gives you greater control of your healthcare by giving you personalised and secure online access to specific parts of your medical records.
Through My Care you can access information like your medications, appointments and some test results.
It is free to use and it is optional. You can continue interacting with healthcare services through the usual methods, such as letters and phone calls.
My Care will not hold significant historical information and will not holdor information from your GP practice.
Accessing My Care
To access My Care, you will need a mobile phone, tablet, or computer as well as an internet connection.
You will only be able to access your information if it has been inputted into the encompass system, which is a new nationwide integrated care record for everyone in Northern Ireland.
At the moment, information is only available on My Care if you have accessed health services in Belfast or the South Eastern Health Trusts.

To sign into My Care, you will need to use a nidirect account to prove your identity.
If you already have a nidirect account, you can use your current account information.
If you do not already have one, you must create a nidirect account to use My Care.
