You can check online to see if a taxi driver is licensed. You should not use a taxi if the driver is not licensed.

Due to essential maintenance there will be a disruption to this service from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm on Saturday 7 March.

How to check

You can find out if a taxi driver is licensed by typing in their licence number shown on their taxi driver badge on this online service.

It starts with 'TDL' and has six numbers.

If the licence number is not visible you should ask the taxi driver to show you their badge.

This service is to check taxi drivers in Northern Ireland only.
