Repay and manage benefit money you owe
If you live in NI, you can use this service to see and pay back benefits owed. You can make part payments or pay back the full amount. You need a debit or credit card to make payments, but your bank may charge interest if you use a credit card.
Use this service if either of these options apply
If you're claiming Universal Credit
You can also use this service to:
- see a breakdown of your deductions
- carry out an income and spending review to help decide how much you can afford to repay
If you've recently stopped claiming benefits
You'll get a letter from the Department for Communities (DfC) telling you that you can use this service. Once you get that letter you can use the service to:
- set up monthly repayments by Direct Debit or flexible payment plan
- manage an existing Direct Debit or flexible payment plan
You can also use this service to get help and support dealing with the money you owe.
Signing in to the service
You can sign in with the security code in your letter from DfC. You can also sign in with GOV.UK One Login. You can create a GOV.UK One Login if you don't have one.
