Repay and manage benefit money you owe
This service is for Northern Ireland customers only
You can only use the Repay and manage benefit money you owe service on this page if you have an invitation letter or text message from the Department for Communities
If you are currently claiming Universal Credit you can use this service to:
- view details of how much you owe
- view a breakdown of your deductions
- find help and support for repaying what you owe
If you have recently stopped claiming benefits, you can use this service to:
- view a breakdown of money you owe
- set up regular monthly payments
- manage an existing Direct Debit or flexible payment plan
- pay back what you owe in full
- get help and support in dealing with the money you owe
Once you sign in with the security code you will have the option to register and verify your identity using the secure online identity service. This will mean you will no longer need your security code to access the service in the future.

If you want to make a payment through the service, you'll need a debit or credit card. Your bank may charge you interest if you pay by credit card.
