This may be paid when you reach State Pension age
This may be paid on top of your weekly income
This may be paid if you are over state pension age and need some help with personal care because of illness or disability
This can be paid if you are living alone or with someone and are still working
This can be paid if you are on a low income to help with rent or rates, even if you own your own home
Ratepayers aged 70 or over who live alone may be entitled to 20 per cent discount on their rates
