Manage your theory test booking online

Use this service to change, cancel or upload evidence for your car, motorcycle, taxi, lorry or bus driving theory test appointment online.

Due to essential maintenance there will be a disruption to this service from 7.00 am to 3.00 pm on Sunday 11 May 2025. DVA apologise for any inconvenience.

Change or cancel your theory test online

Your appointment notice will tell you the last day you can change or cancel your appointment. If you change your appointment by this date, the payment you've already made is carried over to the new date. If you cancel your appointment by this date, you will get a refund.

Upload evidence for your theory test online

You can also use this service to upload evidence if you have asked for help to take your theory test. Your appointment notice will tell you what information you need to send.

When changing, cancelling or uploading evidence for your driving theory test appointment you will need:

the booking reference number
your driving licence number
