The Department for Infrastructure’s Road Safety Grant Scheme aims to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on the roads.  The scheme has been running since 2010 and during this time it has awarded grants totalling about £761,000 to 98 projects.

The 2016/17 scheme

The 2016/17 scheme is now closed.  In total 9 projects received grant funding of over £70,000 for local road safety projects.

The 2017/18 scheme
