This is a document summarising some of the most interesting and significant content within the Barrett Lennard archive (D1232 and MIC170) held in PRONI.


The Barrett Lennard papers in PRONI comprise microfilm copies or originals of around 1,200 letters and papers relating to the Co. Monaghan estates and the political activities of the Barrett Lennard family of Belhus, Essex, and Clones, Co. Monaghan, 1581 to 1866.
