This is a document summarising some of the most interesting and significant content within the Annesley archive (D1503, D1854, MIC538 and T3774) held in PRONI.

Details

The papers of the Annesley family of Castlewellan, Co. Down, Viscounts Glerawly and Earls Annesley include around 165 volumes and around 1,275 documents, divided between and among 2 major deposits of original documents (D1503 and D1854) and a series of photocopies and microfilm copies, and covering the period 1560 to 1565 and around 1620 to 1916.
