Make a claim in cases of Criminal Damage
Under the Criminal Damage Compensation Scheme you may be entitled to claim compensation for loss suffered as a result of damage caused by acts of terrorism or an unlawful assembly of three or more persons; and for malicious or wanton damage caused to agricultural property or other rates exempt property.
How to use this service
To apply for compensation you must complete a Notice of Intention (C1) form. A copy of the form must go to the police station nearest to where the damage occurred.
Each application is determined on its own merits and in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Note - In all cases claims must be for damage which occurred to property/vehicles in Northern Ireland
