Full payment is needed when you make your booking for:
- all one-night stays
- any booking made less than 28 days before date of first arrival
- any bookings where a valid email address is not supplied
For all other bookings and providing a valid email address is supplied, a deposit of £20.00 is needed for each pitch. Pay the balance in full not less than 28 days before date of first arrival.
If you have a balance to pay, you’ll get an email from Forest Service reminding you to pay the balance - contained in this email, is a link that will direct you to where you pay online.

Castlewellan Forest Park offers extensive facilities on tarmac and grass pitches for touring or camping. There are toilets and showers (some of which are wheelchair accessible), fresh water, a chemical toilet disposal point and electricity hook-up for touring vehicles.
There are also many outdoor activities like walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing on the lake and orienteering.
