About the programme
This free training programme consists of a variety of online challenges and mini games, called ‘labs’. Each lab focuses on a different area of cyber security, to help you become more familiar with the industry.
You take the online training alone. It can be completed at home and at your own pace.
The training will help you to find out whether you have what it takes to succeed in cyber. If you do, it will give you the knowledge and skills needed for a career in this fast-growing industry.
Who can apply
You don’t need experience in a tech or cyber role to get involved but you must:
- be aged 16 or over
- live in Northern Ireland
- have a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
You might be a visual thinker, or a problem solver, someone who is good at detecting patterns or who has an analytical mind.
You don’t need to complete an interview to apply. However you may need an interview for any placement or job opportunities
Completing the course
As you progress through the training, you’ll have access to an exclusive jobs board. This will allow you to see the employers and career opportunities available. You can then decide whether to apply for a job by completing those additional labs that have been matched to it.
