Stepping Stones to Employment (European Social Fund project)

Stepping Stones to Employment is a project organised by Stepping Stones NI as part of the European Social Fund. It is aimed at unemployed people with a learning difficulty or disability.

The project aims to improve employability of all participants by offering a range of innovative, tailored, client-centred training and support in order to:

  • secure paid employment
  • increase skills
  • help participants gain work experience, vocational skills and accredited qualifications up to Level 1
  • improve social inclusion

Stepping Stones to Employment is available in the following areas:

  • Ards and North Down Borough Council area
  • Lisburn
  • Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area
