Manufacturing Skills for Industry (European Social Fund project)

The Manufacturing Skills for Industry project is organised by Belfast Metropolitan College as part of the European Social Fund.  It is aimed at people of working age who are unemployed or economically inactive.

The programme  assists long-term unemployed and economically inactive individuals into employment and/ or further education. It trains participants on a skills development programme focussed on:

  • business administration
  • construction
  • engineering/ manufacturing
  • health and social care
  • hospitality and retail

Participants will gain a Level 1 qualification, relevant industry placement experience, employability and soft skills development.

The project is available in the Greater Belfast area.
