Exploring Enterprise Programme (European Social Fund Project)

Exploring Enterprise Programme (EEP) is a project organised by Enterprise Northern Ireland as part of the European Social Fund. It is aimed at unemployed and economically inactive people from diverse backgrounds including disadvantaged communities and underrepresented groups such as lone parents, ex-offenders, people who have been made redundant, young people and women.

EEP is a pre-start Enterprise Programme which provides support to individuals who want to explore the option of self-employment as their route to enter or return to the labour market. Courses are delivered throughout the network of Enterprise Agencies within Northern Ireland. EEP identifies participants' barriers and equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills to make the transition towards the labour market. It will continue to support them as they progress into sustainable employment or self-employment.

The project is available throughout Northern Ireland.
