Women in the Archives

As part of the Eastside Arts Festival, PRONI was delighted to host a joint presentation by Lynsey Gillespie and Jason Burke on 7 August 2019.

Photo of Youth Hostel Association of Northern Ireland Lynsey and Jason will explore hidden stories from the archives of the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland and the Linen Hall Library. They will discuss the curation of sister exhibitions, In Her Words and Anonymous was a Woman which were launched earlier in the year.

Lynsey is currently the curatorial lead on Making the Future at PRONI, responsible for curating In Her Words, and programme of engagement. Jason has been a regular contributor to Eastside Arts Festival and is the community engagement officer on Making the Future at the Linen Hall Library, responsible for the curation of  Anonymous was a Woman.
