Linenopolis: the health and welfare of mill workers

The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) invites you to a talk by David Huddleston examining workhouse, asylum, school and mill records to reveal the health and welfare of mill workers during the late 19th century. On 21 November 2019 at 1.00 pm.

Photograph of a Belfast Linen Mill There will also be a display of original records from the PRONI archives including workhouse registers, school registers, mill letter books and wages books. Staff will be on hand to talk about the documents.
