The Salters Company
This talk will outline the 600-year old history of the Salters’ Company, a livery company in the City of London and 9th in order of precedence of the 110 livery companies.
It will explore ancient traditions, the royal charters, the halls that have been occupied and what happened to them and finish with the relevance of the company today, its fellowship and philanthropy.
It will include reference to the relationship with the Manor of Sal in particular Magherafelt and Salterstown.
