Financial Services Belfast Academy

If you’re interested in a career in financial services, working with investment banks across the world, a training opportunity is now available. If you successfully complete the academy, you’ll gain industry-recognised qualifications and potentially get a job offer to join FinTrU’s Belfast team.

Training

The Financial Services Academy is a four-week intensive training course. 

Due to the situation with Covid 19, this academy will be delivered online through a virtual classroom.

Training will be delivered by Ulster University and Belfast Metropolitan College to prepare you for a role in the financial services sector under the Assured Skills programme.

Those selected for the academy will receive practical, real world training in the following areas:

  • capital markets
  • financial markets
  • compliance
  • legal
  • risk
  • operations
  • KYC (know your customer)

If you successfully complete the course, you'll be guaranteed a job interview with FinTrU.

Who can apply

No previous experience is needed but you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be eligible to work in the UK
  • have at least a 2:2 in any degree discipline
  • not have unsuccessfully applied to FinTru in the last 12 months

How to apply

Apply online at  Financial Services Academy by 10 July.

As part of the application process you'll need to upload your CV and your qualification certificate.

Interview and training dates

Initial interviews will be held by telephone on 20 and 21 July.

If you're successful, this will lead to an online video interview on 23 or 24 July.

Training will take place from 3 to 28 August.

FinTrU is a Financial Services company offering near shore resourcing solutions to its clients that are all Tier 1 Investment banks based in London, New York, Tokyo, Frankfurt and Paris. FinTrU currently employs over 400 staff across its sites in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry.
