Digital skills academy

If you're interested in a career in Digital Services, training opportunities are now available. Graduates selected to join the programme will receive practical, real world training and have the opportunity to work within Version 1 main product areas, Cloud Services, Digital Services and Application Optimisation.

Training

The Digital Skills Academy is an 8 week training course.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, training may be a mix of online and classroom delivery.

Training will be delivered by Belfast Metropolitan College to prepare you for an Associate position in potential roles such as:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Engineers
  • Dev Ops Engineers
  • Software developer
  • Test Automation Engineers

If you're selected for the academy, you'll receive training in:

  • Azure Fundamentals
  • MTA Software Development Fundamentals in C# and .Net
  • Cyber security
  • Software testing
  • Design thinking
  • Soft skills
  • Presentation skills

If you successfully complete the course, you'll be guaranteed a job interview with Version 1. However, successful completion of the academy is not a guarantee of gaining employment.

Who can apply

No previous experience is needed but you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be eligible to work in the UK
  • have a university degree classification 2:2 in any discipline or a Level 5 qualification in an ICT, or STEM subject

How to apply

Apply online at Version 1 Digital Skills Academy  by midnight on 30 June 2021.

The application process will involve the completion of the online application form.

Interview and training dates

Interviews will be held 19July to 21 July 2021

Training will take place from 9 August 2021.
