About this Event
The mv Princess Victoria was a roll-on/ roll-off ferry which operated between Larne and Stranraer. She left Stranraer on the 31st January and sailed into what has been called ‘The Great Storm of 1953’. The ship was lost and only 44 men survived the sinking. No women or children were saved.
