Cyber Security Academy

If you're interested in a career in the cyber security sector, training opportunities are now available. If you successfully complete the academy you will be guaranteed an interview with KPMG for a Consulting Analyst position.

Training

Due to the ongoing issues with COVID-19 the Academy training will be delivered through an on-line virtual classroom. Successful applicants will require appropriate IT access in order to link to the online tuition.

Some training may take place in Belfast Met with all social distancing guidelines adhered to. Therefore, all participants must be prepared and able to attend the college in person as required.

If you successfully complete the course, you will be guaranteed an interview with KPMG for a Consulting Analyst position.

Completion of the Academy is not a guarantee of gaining employment.

If you're selected for the academy, you'll receive training in the following areas:

  • Cisco Networking Essentials
  • MTA Security Fundamentals
  • EC Council Ethical Hacking
  • AZ 900
  • AZ 500
  • EC Council Cyber Forensics Associate

Who can apply 

You don't need any previous experience. However, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be eligible to work in the UK
  • have a 2.2 degree in any discipline or have a level 5 qualification in an ICT or a STEM related subject

If a large amount of applications are received, further shortlisting criteria may be applied.

How to apply

Apply onlineby 12.00 noon on Wednesday 21 April 2021.

Interview and training dates  

Interviews will be held on 11, 12, and 13 May 2021.

Training will commence on Monday 1 June 2021 and finish on Monday 9 August 2021.  Applicants should be available for the duration of the training period.
