Applied Intelligence Academy
If you're interested in a career in Applied Intelligence, training opportunities are now available. If you successfully complete the academy, you’ll gain industry-recognised qualifications and potentially get a job offer to join KPMG’s Belfast Consulting centre.
The Applied Intelligence (AI) Academy is a nine week and one day intensive training course.
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, training will be online through a virtual classroom. However, should Government restrictions change training may be delivered in one of the Belfast Met campuses.
Training will be delivered by Belfast Metropolitan College to prepare you for the roles of Data Scientist, Data Engineer or a Network Analytics Engineer through the Assured Skills programme.
If you're selected for the academy, you'll receive practical, real world training in:
- Intermediate Excel for AI and Data
- Python in the context of AI
- Advanced Python
- Capstone Project – Application of Learning
If you successfully complete the course, you'll be guaranteed a job interview with KPMG. However, successful completion of the academy is not a guarantee of gaining employment.
Who can apply
No previous experience is needed but you must:
- be at least 18 years old
- be eligible to work in the UK
- have a university degree classification 2.2 in any discipline or a level 5 qualification in an ICT subject
How to apply
Apply online at the KPMG Applied Intelligence Academy by noon on Monday 12 July 2021.
The application process will involve the completion of an online application form.
Interview and training dates
Interviews will be held from 27 July to 29 July 2021.
Training will take place from 23 August to 26 October 2021.
KPMG is an accounting firm, generating revenue from a mix of audit, tax, deal advisory and consulting services.
KPMG are establishing an office in Belfast to deliver services in various technology disciplines. This Assured Skills Academy will deliver training in Applied Intelligence.
