Agriculture - EU exit information
Since 1 January 2021, the way you trade has changed, and you need to be ready to comply with new arrangements. These changes will affect your business if you move live animals, animal products, or plant products.
If you move goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland you need to be ready to operate effectively.
To help explain what the changes mean for you, information and guidance has been developed by the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA). Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- animal feed
- food labelling
- importing and exporting:
- live animals
- plants and plant products
- potatoes, crops and seeds
- organics and marketing standards
- plant health
- points of entry
- products of animal origin
- sanitary and phytosanitary checks
