People on a low income
To help people on a low income pay their rate bill, there are two key forms of help available, Housing Benefit and Rate Relief.
Find out if you qualify for help with your rate bill
You may be entitled to claim these if you are affected by or claiming:
- low wage or income
- redundancy
- reduced income
- Income support
- Jobseekers allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Pension Credit
