Today’s Get Online Day 2009 aims to help people to take their first steps with computers and the internet. It is part of a drive to open the digital age to everyone.

Helping everyone get online

Get Online Day is about helping people get to grips with computers and the internet at their own pace, with friendly people on hand to help. You can join in whether you are a complete beginner or you know the basics and want to know a little bit more.

There is also a series of sessions called ‘Internet Made Easy’ being held in libraries across Northern Ireland to offer citizens the chance to learn how to use the internet and other interactive services.

nidirect also has information about acessing the internet at the following page, including how to get access through your local library.
