Public transport concessions for over-60s

If you are over 60 and live in Northern Ireland then you are eligible for free travel on public transport.

60+ SmartPass

If you are aged between 60 and 64 and you are a permanent resident of Northern Ireland, then you are eligible for a 60+ SmartPass.

Senior SmartPass

If you are 65 or over, and live permanently in Northern Ireland, you are eligible for a Senior SmartPass. These passes entitle the holder to free travel on public transport.

How do I apply?

Application forms can be obtained in the following ways:

• in person from any manned Translink bus or rail station
• by telephoning 0845 600 0049 (Deaf and hard-of- hearing applicants can use the textphone number 028 9038 7505
