Are you caring for someone?

If you care for someone - a relative, a friend or a neighbour who needs support because of their age, illness or disability, there may be benefits available for you, or for them.

  • Carer’s Allowance

    This can be paid to people aged 16 and over who care for someone who is ill or has a disability

  • Disability Living Allowance

    This may be paid to people who have a disability and are under 65 to help them with their needs.

  • Attendance Allowance

    This can be paid to people over 65 living with a disability who need care.
