Passenger cars and Motorcycles

From 1 April 1996, all cars and motorcycles that are 4 years old or over must undergo an annual MOT test.

For vehicles that have never been registered or have previously been registered outside the UK, the test is due on the fourth anniversary of its manufacture and every year afterwards. Cars and motorcycles can be tested at any of the 15 DVA test centres in Northern Ireland by our vehicle test examiners. The MOT test is a legal requirement to ensure that all vehicles are roadworthy and safe to be used on a public road.
