What to do if you do not receive your registration certificate V5C(NI)
Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) can only issue a replacement certificate to Registered Vehicle Keepers if the request is received within three months of the issue date of the original V5C(NI) Registration Certificate.
When is a fee payable?
This is a UK wide policy specified by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency in Swansea and applies to all vehicle keepers in the United Kingdom. This policy also applies if there has been an address change and the Agency has not been notified within the three-month period.
After this three-month period has elapsed, all requests will be treated as applications for duplicate registration certificates and require the completion of a V34(NI) form and payment of the £25 fee.
