Where are the theory test centres?
There are six theory test centres throughout Northern Ireland. To find your nearest centre, contact details and a map to the centre please click on the links below.

Ballymena |
The test centre is located in one of the external units of the Tower Centre at the junction of Lower Mill Street and Albert Place - close to the Adair Arms Hotel. Access to the test centre is via a set of steps or ramp at the above road junction. If coming from the Bus / Train station go via Galgorm Road to the Adair Arms and the test centre is on the left hand side. |
Belfast |
Leaving the Europa Hotel cross the road and turn left towards the city centre. The centre is located on the right hand side, in the Chamber of Commerce Building at 22 Great Victoria Street on the 5th Floor. |
Londonderry |
From The City hotel (signed as Harbour Square) roundabout travel towards Strand Road. Pickup the right hand lane at the Traffic Lights turn right and take the left into Patrick Street, which then meets a T-Junction formed with Queen Street. (Queen Street is parallel with Strand Road). Turn right at T-junction and 19 Queen Street is about 30 metres from T-junction. |
Newry |
Go past Newry Cathedral on your left and continue to John Mitchell Place. The test centre entrance is a large wooden door opposite the main market gates. |
Omagh |
The test centre is located on the second floor above the HSBC Bank and the fruit and veg shop at the bottom of Market Street at the crossroads. |
Portadown |
Church Street runs from St Marks Church in the centre of the town, towards the Armagh Road. The office is on the right hand side of the road going out of town, adjacent to the town house restaurant, and directly opposite Craigavon and Banbridge Community HSS Trust Building. |
