Pomeroy Forest

Pomeroy Forest is a small, diverse woodland of 175 hectares on the eastern edge of Pomeroy. The public are welcome to visit this forest by foot.

Activities

Access to the network of waymarked trails is from the small car park inside the main entrance to the wood.

To arrange a special event or activity in this forest, you should apply in the first instance to the Recreation Manager, Forest Service NI at Inishkeen House.

Such activities may include sporting events or educational visits.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of our forests from time to time to facilitate forest operations. Please adhere to safety signage which will be posted for your safety.

About this forest

This is a predominantly coniferous woodland, managed primarily for timber production.

How to get there

From Pomeroy take the B160 Stewartstown Road for one mile before entering the forest at the walled entrance.
