Pike Fishery

The Department of Culture, Arts and leisure (DCAL) is developing this Lough as a pike fishery and aggressive large pike are regularly removed from DCAL's game fisheries and stocked into this Lough. Caution should be exercised when boating as there are a number of shallow areas in the lough which are unmarked.

Disabled Facilities

There is a slipway and jetty in the car park from where it is possible to fish, except at low water. There are steps onto the jetty, otherwise access is not easy unless fishing from a boat.
