Angling at Loughbrickland Lake
Loughbrickland Lake, alongside the main Belfast to Dublin Road, is stocked with 3,000 takeable brown and rainbow trout. The shore is mostly firm and safe for wading but the north and south tips should be avoided. A surfaced path is provided along the west shore.

From Belfast
Take the M1 to Lisburn (Sprucefield roundabout) then the A1 towards Newry for 45 km. The lough is on the left.
From Armagh
Take the A51 to Tandragee, the A27 to Scarva and B3 to Loughbrickland, joining the A1 in Loughbrickland village.
From Lurgan
Take the A26 to Banbridge and head south towards Newry by the A1.
From Newry
Head north by the A1, towards Banbridge for 16 km.
